American roulette

Here you can learn the rules of American roulette.

There are several varieties of roulette. Our casino offers American roulette with a single zero.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF ROULETTE

The American roulette table consists of two parts: the wheel and the playing field.
The wheel has numbers from 0 (Zero) to 36, which are arranged randomly. The winning number is determined by a ball that is spun by the croupier running the game.
The same numbers are also found on the playing field. For the convenience of all players, they are arranged in order.
The goal of roulette is to guess which number the ball will land on and place the appropriate bet.
GAME CHIPS

Chips for the game can be purchased at the casino cashier. The game is played with two types of chips: cash chips and colored chips, which are only intended for use at that particular table.
Colored chips from one table cannot be used at other tables.
Each player can choose tokens of one of the available colors, which only they can use during the game.
Colored tokens do not have a strictly defined denomination.
Each player can only play with one color and determine the price of the colored token themselves, which must be within the maximum and minimum bets for “Straight Up” at the gaming table. The value of the token is indicated by a special marker.
After finishing the game, you must exchange your colored tokens with the croupier for tokens with a monetary value, which you can use to continue playing at any other table, or exchange them at the casino cashier.

GAME PLAY

At the invitation of the croupier, players place their chips on the main and/or additional American roulette field, either personally or with the help of the croupier.
Then the ball is spun against the direction of the roulette wheel.
Bets can be placed both before the ball is released and while it is spinning.
Three spins before the ball falls, the croupier announces that betting is closed. After that, bets are not accepted, collected, changed, or returned.
Bets placed by a player after the croupier announces “No more bets” are considered invalid.
After the ball falls into one of the numbered pockets, the croupier announces the winning number and places a special marker on it — the “Dolly.”
Losing bets are removed from the table, and winning bets are paid out according to the rules.
After the marker is removed from the number, new bets are accepted, and the whole cycle repeats from the beginning.
BETS AND PAYOUTS

There are three types of bets:

Outside Bets — bets in which chips are placed on additional areas of the roulette table (for example, a bet on “Dozen”).
Inside Bets — bets placed directly on individual numbers or groups of numbers. Chips are placed on the numbered area of the game table.
Call Bets — bets on “Series” and “Neighbors.”
The player can place (either themselves or with the help of the croupier) the following bets on the roulette playing field and receive the corresponding payouts if they win:
Outside bets

Simple odds are 18 winning numbers:

“Red” — Red numbers = 1:1
“Black” — Black numbers = 1:1
“EVEN” — Even numbers = 1:1
“ODD” — Odd numbers = 1:1
“1-18” — Low odds = 1:1
“19-39” — High odds = 1:1
Dozen — 12 numbers located in a row on the playing field.

Column — 12 numbers located in a column on the playing field.

First dozen — numbers from 1 to 12 = 2:1
Second dozen — numbers from 13 to 24 = 2:1
Third dozen — numbers from 25 to 36 = 2:1
Column — 12 numbers = 2:1
Inside bets

Six Line — Six numbers = 5:1
Corner — Four numbers = 8:1
First Corner — First four (First Corner) = 8:1
Street — Three numbers (Street) = 11:1
Split — Two numbers (Split) = 17:1
Straight Up — One number (Straight Up) = 35:1
Note:

When “Zero” comes up, all bets on even chances (“red”, “black”, “even”, ‘odd’, “1-18”, “19-36”), dozens and columns lose.
Zero does not belong to any type of even money bet. However, bets related to zero are paid out in the same way as any other number.
Verbal bets

For the convenience of the player and to maintain a fast pace of play, it is possible to place “verbal bets.” Bets on “Series” and ‘Neighbors’ are placed on the “Additional Field” (track), which is located above the playing field and represents a projection of the roulette wheel. Bets on “Series” and “Neighbors” are accepted in both colored chips and cash chips. The player's verbal bets are considered accepted if the croupier and/or inspector have repeated your bet verbally. The player is solely responsible for the correctness of the bets made.

Series

This bet allows the player to cover all numbers in one of the four sectors of the roulette wheel with the minimum number of chips required.

There are four classic series (sectors) that are universally accepted in all casinos:

“Voisin” (Series 0/2/3) — 17 numbers = 9 chips
“Zero-Spiel” (0-Spiel) — 7 numbers, part of “Voisins” = 4 chips
“Tier” (Series 5/8) — 12 numbers = 6 chips
“Orphelins” — 8 numbers = 5 chips
Neighboring numbers

A sector of five consecutive numbers on the roulette wheel. The player places a bet on one of the numbers on an additional field (track). Colored chips and/or cash chips in multiples of five are accepted. The bet covers the number on which the chips are placed and two numbers to the right and left. If one of these five numbers comes up, the croupier places 1/5 of the bet on the number that came up on the playing field and pays it out at 35:1. The remaining part of the bet is lost.

Additional information about “Verbal Bets” can be obtained from casino staff.
ADDITIONS TO THE RULES OF THE GAME

Please note that colored chips that you have not exchanged for “cash chips” when leaving the table can only be exchanged later at the minimum value.
Players have the right to place any bets, subject to the minimum and maximum limits set for the gaming table.
Information about the minimum and maximum limits for each bet is displayed on each table.
By starting the game, the player accepts the rules and default bet sizes. At the guest's request, the croupier will explain the rules before the game begins.
Bets on credit and in cash are not accepted.
The game is considered valid if the ball has made at least three revolutions.
The ball is considered invalid (“No spin”) if:
the ball has jumped out of the drum;
the roulette wheel has stopped;
the ball has made fewer than three revolutions;
a foreign object has entered the drum.
The game is repeated.

In a situation where the ball does not settle in a specific pocket of the wheel after being launched, but spins on the rim along with the wheel, “No spin” is declared after three spins of the wheel. The decision to restart is made by the casino manager.

The croupier will answer all your questions about the game.

*In case of disputes, the management's decision is final.
